An Example Talk Outline: Tripoint
The dictionary defines a TriPoint as: "A trijunction, triple point, or tri-border area is a geographical point at which the boundaries of three countries or subnational entities meet."
In digital terms, this is the point where three key ideas meet:
- What you sell (your product or service).
What is it you are selling on your website? Actual products? Or it may be something a bit more subtle, perhaps your website is there to generate leads? Be clear on your product that you are offering. How will you measure success?
- How you explain why someone should buy it (your persuasion and marketing).
How can you help customers to buy your product (or give you their information)? Why should they do it? Do you speak their language? How do you frame this for them? What are their questions that you can answer on your site?
- Does a customer know how to buy it (your process)?
Is it easy for them to understand the next steps that they should take? Is that an easy process or too complicated? What are the different ways in which you can remove friction for your customers?
The talk outlines these three key ideas and looks at clear and practical ways to put this into practice on your website. We go through specific examples in an interactive workshop style.
